The Sustaining TPM will perform internal/external Failure Analysis to understand and solve CS escalations.
The position will work with Customer Service, Legal and internal FA engineers to drive root cause and corrective action.
The TPM is expected to drive issues to closure.
Initial focus will be improving sustaining operations and quality.
The Sustaining TPM will work to fully define and document the current manufacturing operations (processes, capacity).
They will work with the In-Region Quality Team and Customer Service/Experience to triage factory and field issues, then develop solutions to eliminate mistakes/factory escapes.
The TPM will immediately attack these issues to shore up the ship and create critical Brand Protection.
Your first projects to tackle will be:
Establish firm manufacturing process capability for Critical to Quality features on various products (ex. Color matching lid/base, Carter lids breaking)
Implement a PRQ/ECO process that takes CS/CX data and drives resolution into the product via Engineering/Product/Factory
Requirements
1-2 Years’ experience in similar role elsewhere, Open to potential with Manufacturing background
Development of Consumer Electronics products/goods; Manufacturing
BS degree in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, science); equivalent industry experience considered
Rapid Consumer Electronics development cycles, JIRA, Asana, Project Planning program
This position requires 25% travel to Asia
