A social media startup based in SF is looking to add on a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical direction to Agile teams working on different applications. You'll be engaged with work on different projects, using Java, Kafka, Spring Boot, and more.

As a Lead engineer, you'll provide support to the enterprise and have opportunities to significantly impact organizational growth and effectiveness by delivering best-in-class technology solutions.
Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of Software Engineering experience using Java 8 or higher
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Working in a microservices environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Computer Science or related STEM degree
• Polyglot proficient in multiple languages

What You Will Be Doing

• Engaged in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting, and implementing software, responding to outages.
• Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensure these risks are effectively identified and escalated to be measured, monitored, and controlled.
