We are looking for a Vocational Nursing Faculty Preceptor to join our team. Facilitate current and new faculty training and development.Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing innovative techniques in faculty trainingModel professional workplace behaviors and practicesProvide an orientation for all newly hired Vocational Nursing faculty including a review of policies and procedures, curriculum content, Canvas, CourseKey, Campus Vue, and basic computer skillsAssess new and existing faculty learning needs and develop a plan to meet learning goals, collaborate with Program Directors, Lead Faculty and Faculty Development to meet learning objectivesFacilitate completion of programmatic training topics by working with hiring managersMeet with new faculty on a regular basis to ensure their ongoing success, assist in problem-solving, and provide new faculty support during the initial 90-day hire periodCoordinate the transition of new faculty from faculty development orientation to the campus of hireAssist new and existing faculty in developing a sense of belonging and engagement with the CollegeAssist in the coordination of mock skills check-off, theory observations and clinical training with hiring managersDevelop faculty training materials for programmatic orientation as required to meet orientation goalsConduct orientation exit meetings to discuss and review processes and assess faculty readiness. Provide constructive feedback to faculty member and hiring managerArticulate training expectation  clearly; focus on faculty strengthsAssist with curriculum review and program instructional materials, including LMS and electronic resourcesSubmit required program reports and forms to the Assistant Dean or designee in a timely mannerKeep current with new technologies and safety regulationsParticipate in professional development; maintain licensure CE requirements  and remain current with College updatesActively participates in College committees as assignedAll other duties as assignedSalary range: $85k - $110k
