An immediate opportunity that Opto-Mechanical Engineers will want to hear about! High tech client looking to collaborate with emerging technologies and teams for launch of products in the metrology space. Define, develop, prototype, and analyze design solutions! Next generation opportunity for someone with a strong optomechanical engineering background and Mechanical Engineering CAD tool knowledge. Laser or Optical experience is required (Both are a BIG plus!). Work with experts engineers and technicians to produce top-of-the-line systems.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the design of optomechanical engineering.
  • 7+ years of professional mechanical engineering.
  • Professional hands-on experience with kinematic principles, development of precision instruments - such as lasers, optic, or other components. Examples may include but are not limited to Wavefront, Plane Waves, Through-Glass Measurements, Beam Profiles and Positions, Through-Glass Polarization, Metrology, Measurements of Tools and Specs, Laser Alignments, Adhesives, and Tracing.
  • Professional expertise across either kinematic design, adhesives, optics, vacuum, or precision machining. Experience with volume production from the initial concept stage, ME CAD tools, FEA proficiency.
  • Highly adept in software development methodologies and release processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
