We are a thriving local paint company seeking a part-time bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced individual looking to contribute to a dynamic business environment. As our bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our business affairs.
Responsibilities:
Record daily transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Maintain physical and digital filing systems for records
Process checks, handle mailings, and manage other documents
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Generate Worker Comp Insurance reports and handle submissions
File sales tax reports quarterly or yearly
Conduct bi-monthly payroll processing
Assist with annual insurance renewals
Record sales from e-commerce platforms
Qualifications and Experience:
Associate degree or higher education in accounting or related field
Alternatively, 1-2 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Payroll
Ability to commute to our office location
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication abilities
Availability for two weekdays, five hours each day

Salary: Starting from $25 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
