After School Program aide(s) needed for Santa Barbara Charter School
We are looking to hire two After School Program aide(s). Preference will be given to candidates with a knowledge of sports and outdoor games. We are looking for someone to play sports games and interact with children on a daily basis.
This job will be on site, following Covid protocols from SB Public Health. Training will be provided.
Schedule:
Varied positions: we hope to offer childcare to essential workers from 8:00-5:30
Willing to adjust work schedule for the right candidate.

After School Program aides assist with various instructional and recreational activities for children enrolled in an elementary before/after school program:
Coordinate and oversee groups of students playing sports or other organized games daily
Take attendance, supervise children in indoor and outdoor play activities, lead children in activities
Assist with snack as required, clean and sanitize eating areas, assist children with personal hygiene after meals and playground time
Assist with remote/distance learning needs and academic tutoring
Administer minor first aide as assigned
Maintain confidentiality of student records and information according to established practices and procedures
Perform related duties as assigned
Report to: After School Program Director and Director of Education
Starting hourly rate After School Program (DOE): $13.42
