Santori Woodworking in Lompoc Ca is seeking an in-house detail-oriented Cabinet Engineer/Drafter to join our innovative design team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of estate quality custom cabinetry and interior systems through precise technical drawings and system design. As a key player in our creative process, you will transform conceptual ideas into accurate, detailed CAD models and schematics, supporting seamless construction and manufacturing workflows. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your drafting expertise can shape inspiring spaces, this position is perfect for you! Must have 3-5 years VERIFIABLE experience!

Duties

Create detailed CAD drawings for cabinetry, interior systems, and mechanical components using software such as AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision.

Develop comprehensive schematics and system designs that meet project specifications and client requirements.

Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility throughout all project phases.

Prepare construction documents, assembly instructions, and detailed fabrication drawings to facilitate efficient manufacturing processes.

Review project plans for compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Assist in the integration of graphic design elements and 2D animations to enhance project visualizations.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD software , Cabinet Vison , Adobe Acrobat ,Microsoft Excel

Strong understanding of drafting standards, schematics creation, and system design principles.

Experience with construction documentation and interior design concepts.

Knowledge of mechanical design processes relevant to custom cabinetry systems.

Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications accurately.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
