Experienced Civil Project Engineer - Santa Barbara, CA
Ashley & Vance Engineering, Inc. seeks highly talented individuals to join our team as a Civil Project Engineer. We are a growing consulting engineering firm that employs over 100 people in eight branch offices throughout the western United States. Our people are creative, energetic, and forward-thinking. Our current opening for this position is in our Santa Barbara, CA office location.
Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in design of land development projects; a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has obtained their PE certification; strong time management skills, and have the patience to coordinate with clients, consultants, and public agency staff. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and hydrology software is preferred. Candidates should also have experience with grading and drainage designs, water and sewer systems, hydrology reports, stormwater management plans (SWMP) and knowledge of SWMP requirements in local municipalities- ideally in the cities and counties of Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles.
Experienced Civil Engineers in our firm oversee projects that prepare Design Documents for project entitlements and Construction Documents for projects that include commercial and/or residential developments to large-scale public works projects. We are proud of our strong mentoring program and ability to expose new engineers to a wide variety of projects and responsibilities. We pride ourselves on building our engineers’ qualitative skills, in addition to their quantitative skills. Compensation:
Base Salary: $90,000 – $115,000/year (depending on experience)
Total Compensation Estimate: $105,000 – $130,000/year
