Graphic Designer
Prestigious Santa Barbara Architectural firm is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer with a keen eye for design and strong technical skills to work in conjunction with the Public Relations and Marketing Department. The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Marketing Manager and support the Marketing Team in creating high-quality visual materials that communicate the firm’s brand, vision, and projects. You’ll work closely with Architects, marketing staff, and external collaborators to deliver engaging graphics across print, digital, and presentation platforms. Key Responsibilities
Design and produce promotional materials, award submissions, and presentation packages
Coordinate and schedule project photography, and maintain organized image archives
Retouch and format architectural photography and renderings
Assist in upholding brand consistency across all visual communications
Manage image libraries, templates, and marketing assets
Research and coordinate publication opportunities and outreach
Assist with publications, including book sales, maintaining physical book inventory (which can include lifting/carrying boxes of up to 30 lbs), and fulfilling of website orders
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
1–3 years of professional experience in a design or marketing environment (Architecture or Design a plus)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Interest in design, Architecture, or related fields a plus
