We are a small nonprofit farm in beautiful Summerland looking for a baker to help with our daily production of baked goods for our local food stand and food deliveries. We bake an assortment of pastries, muffins, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and banana bread every day for our Summerland community farm stand. We also make jams, salsas, and tortillas on a regular basis. We deliver bags of nourishing, chemical-free produce to food insecure and health compromised individuals on a weekly basis. If you enjoy baking and serving the community, come join our team!
We are seeking an experienced baker with previous experience to create a variety of organic treats for our farm cart. It is the baker's responsibility bake professional style goods, deliver to the farm stand in Summerland,
Required baking skills are:
Ability to read, prep and follow recipes.
Good priority and organizational skills.
Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations.
Ability to meet deadlines. Baked goods must be delivered by 10am
Creativity in craft.
Willingness to learn.
Works begins at 7am
Availability Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
