Job Summary:
Support staff plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This position involves clearing tables, assisting servers, and supporting the overall flow of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Table Maintenance:
Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for new guests.
Ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Support for Servers:
Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables.
Refill water and drinks as needed and respond to guest requests.
Cleaning Duties:
Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms.
Sanitize tables, chairs, and menus between guests.
Stock Management:
Help with the organization and restocking of dining supplies, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Assist in inventory management and notify management of any shortages.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with all staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with team members on table status and guest needs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Up-to-date certifications on all required compliance training within 30 days of hire.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy items.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
Food safety and other company and industry specific certifications are required.
