We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team in a dynamic sandwich shop environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role involves handling transactions, assisting customers with their inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant experience.

Responsibilities:
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions. We use Toast.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. We are looking for high energy as well as a great personality inviting to customers.
Assist with merchandising and stocking products on the sales floor to maintain an organized shop appearance.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and perform basic math calculations for transactions.
Exhibit strong phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone.
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels effectively.
Be able handle multiple duties at once under pressure
Set up and close FOH daily/Stock/clean
Experience:
Previous experience in cashiering or customer service roles is preferred.
Familiarity with retail sales processes and store operations is a plus.
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and effective stocking practices is beneficial.
