Zaca Coffee is a new(ish) coffee roasting company based in Buellton, CA roasting specialty coffee distributed to wholesale and retail accounts throughout the Central Coast. Additionally, Zaca Coffee has a newly remodeled mobile coffee trailer that will serve a full menu of coffee beverages - espresso and drip coffee. The trailer is currently being upgraded for coffee service to be fully functional by April 1.
Zaca Coffee seeks an experienced Barista who is also interested in managing Zaca Coffee’s mobile coffee trailer. This person will be proactive, self-motivated, willing to jump in, detail oriented, customer-focused and a team player. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, customer facing setting who is ready with out of the box ideas and a passion for sharing coffee! The candidate will be willing to jump into a new project and help market, develop outreach, and grow this new venture for Zaca Coffee.
Job overview:
In anticipation of opening of trailer, candidate will work developing menus, employee schedule etc.
Once trailer is fully functioning, 32 hours/weekt, full-time possible
Hours of trailer operation of trailer - Monday - Friday 7 am - 1 pm. Special weekend events and pop-ups as scheduled.
Oversight of all aspects of trailer operations working with the GM.
Manage scheduling and training of other trailer employees
Requires physical labor - lifting coffee, managing machines, supporting trailer team with set-up, break down.
Requires patience, problem-solving attitude and a sense of humor.
Compensation is hourly (starting rate $18), plus guaranteed gratuity (15%), plus additional cash and card (paycheck) tips.

Location - the trailer will be located in Buellton CA and will travel to events in the Tri-County region.
