Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Event Sales Manager to drive private event sales and oversee the seamless planning and execution of events at Vega Vineyard & Farm. The ideal candidate combines strong sales skills with operational expertise, providing a hands-on approach to guest experience, vendor coordination, and event logistics.
This individual will be the key liaison between clients, culinary and service teams, and ensuring every event reflects Vega Vineyards high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings for weddings, corporate functions, and private events.
Conduct site tours and sales presentations that highlight Vega property, amenities, and farm-to-table offerings.
Prepare and manage event proposals, contracts, and invoices; maintain organized booking and payment records.
Oversee pre-event planning and on-site execution, coordinating with culinary, tasting room, and service teams.
Ensure all events align with property standards, brand presentation, and guest satisfaction goals.
Maintain expertise in venue scheduling systems and guest management tools.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years of experience in event and menu sales and/or operations within the hospitality, winery, or resort industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding event sales goals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Understanding of food & beverage operations, wine service, and luxury event standards.
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend and evening availability required, as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $68, 000 - 80,000 base (DOE) + commission
