Shalhoob's Funk Zone Patio, family family-owned and operated restaurant, is looking for an experienced food expeditor!
Part-Time or Full-Time positions available
Job Responsibilities
Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the customer
Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
Deliver orders to maintain fast service
Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
Transfer important information between the kitchen and servers (e.g. when a customer has a particular request)
Support other tasks as needed
Skills
2+ years MUST of experience as a Food Runner
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends must, evenings, and holidays
Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with customers, management and staff
Responsible and reliable attendance
Bilingual is a plus but not required
