We are looking for a talented, motivated experienced line Garde / Prep / Cook. Only those with seriousness about your craft need apply. Must love food and cooking, able to work as a team player and work with proper sanitation and organizational skills.
We are a private city club located downtown. The hours are Monday and Thursday 7:30am – 3:00pm plus extra evening hours as made available by special events. Bring creativity as we write our weekly menus. Must be dependable with a positive vibe and smooth attitude. Perfect opportunity for recent culinary graduate.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
Degree in Culinary Arts and/other Hospitality Management (Preferred) or three to five years of food production experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of food preparation.
Food safety certification.

III. Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and plating all salads and desserts, including preparing dressings and proteins. No pastry prep necessary. Complete all general food prep as assigned by the Chef. Maintain the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards. Prepare products according to club recipes and standards.
IV. Job Tasks (Duties)
1. Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are always maintained throughout the kitchen.
2. Prepares all components for Salads
3. Sets up clean and organized cold and dessert stations for lunch service and special events.
4. Follow all instructions from the Chef with a sense of urgency.
5. Maintains security and safety in work area.
6. Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
7. Ensures that work area and equipment are clean and sanitary.
8. Covers, dates, and neatly stores re-usable leftover products.
9. Assists with other duties as instructed by the Chef.
