General Manager Position

Brass Bear Uptown is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to join our team. This individual is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality, leading service on the floor, and maintaining a fun, collaborative dining experience for all. We are looking for someone who can help build a positive, mentoring culture for our staff and who has a critical eye for detail and genuine ability to connect with people on all levels.

Duties:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.

Direct all hiring and training for the front of house teams

Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance and profitability.

Train and mentor staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold company policies.

Create employee schedules and manage labor costs.

Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders.

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Maintain a high level of hospitality while defining our culture

Provide coaching and guidance on improving the mindset and skill set of FOH staff, with a focus on guest relationships

Uphold progressive disciple when necessary

Requirements:

Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proven track record of meeting financial targets and managing budgets.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
