Harry's House is an independent senior living community offering residents assistance with services including meals, transportation, housekeeping, and resident advocacy. The Dinning Service is staffed from 6am-6:30pm, due to upcoming Holidays we are seeking an on-call Hostess with the opportunity for possible Part-time-Full time hours. A Hostess’s duties primarily focus on ensuring the residents and guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the Dining Room. We are looking for an individual who is friendly, organized, and values the sense of community. The Hostess is responsible for greeting people as they enter the community, serving resident meals and guiding them to their table. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on our organization.
Sets up tables in the dining room for meals or catered events
Clears and reset tables during and after meal service
Serves food and beverages to residents and guests following proper dining room procedures
Completes opening and/or closing side work duties in a timely manner
Assembles and delivers trays and "to-go" meals
Checks and attends to scheduled catering events
Assist with Host/Hostess duties
Informs Dining Room Supervisor of any problems
Other duties as assigned
