Barbareño is looking to hire a host/hostess and runner. We're looking for someone we can cross train for both positions, and who may eventually be able to move to a server position. We're a passionate, energetic crew that is focused on contributing to and growing the Santa Barbara restaurant scene. As a business, we believe in investing time and energy into finding the right staff members who believe in our concept and have a desire to learn and grow in the food/wine industry. Experience in a busy, full service restaurant will definitely be an advantage for candidates, but we're happy to train individuals who are driven and passionate. This position will allow for growth into a server position if candidates demonstrate the desire to learn and master the knowledge and skills required. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week including weekends and holidays. Full availability is preferred and candidates with full availability will be given precedent. We are looking for candidates that have availability for dinner shifts: generally 3:30pm-9:30pm or 5:30pm-11:30pm. You can check out what we're all about at www.barbareno.com.
