PM Engineer

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Oversee all mechanical areas of the club facility and the grounds to keep the club functioning at top efficiency. Select, train and supervise the engineering staff.
Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
1. Coordinates with Director of Maintenance to procure parts and items needed for maintenance, completion of work
orders and general department supplies.
2. Oversees daily water checks on swimming and whirlpool water and filtering system for positive health protection;
supervises maintenance of pool facility.
3. Works with planners and coordinates repairs of club areas.
4. Maintains an on-going energy management program for the property’s HVAC and lighting systems.
5. Assists in checking fire protection systems for proper operation and training personnel for usage.
6. Promotes an operational plan for implementation of weather-related occurrences and issues.
7. Manages the club’s on-going preventive maintenance program for HVAC, electric, plumbing, roofing, elevators and
all club buildings.
8. Maintains a log for all equipment and repairs.
9. Serves as liaison between club and regulatory agencies including health and safety inspections and city building
department.
10. Suggests cost-saving alternatives applicable to maintenance and engineering responsibilities.
11. Conducts periodic inspections of engineering-related facilities.
12. Interacts with outside contractors when approved by Director of Maintenance.
13. Helps develop short- and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance, capital replacement and capital
requirements.
14. Schedules or responds to maintenance requests from club managers or employees.
15. Develops and monitors maintenance checklists.
16. Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
17. Assures that OSHA work requirements are met and that MSDSs are available.
18. Attends staff meetings.
19. Completes other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
