VALIDATION ALE has openings for:
Foodrunner/dishwasher: Friday and Saturday night. Duties include correctly running the correct food to the correct guests in a timely manner, and fulfill any requests they might have for their meal. In between food orders the responsibility is to keep up with dishes.
Line Cook: Lunch shifts 10am-4pm. Duties include cooking our food accurately and quickly to the required standard. Staying busy and working on prep in between food orders, while keeping a clean work environment.
VALIDATION ANNEX, our second location, is set to open October 1st! We will be hiring for all positions, including the kitchen manager. The main focus of our kitchen will be in the creation of high quality pizza for our guests in the upper de la vina area. Qualifications and responsibilities
Minimum 3 year cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
Ability to learn our detailed menu and continually cook our food to the expected standard
Ability to execute new specials each shift or cook an alternative menu
Ability to complete the necessary food preparation on shift
Ability to follow the leadership of the lead Chef
Food Safety Certification and ability to maintain protocols
Ability to maintain the daily and weekly cleaning schedule
Be on time and keep a clean appearance
Ability to stand, cook, and hustle for demanding 6 hour periods of time
Partial English for communication with the front of house
Kitchen Manager/ Lead Chef
This role controls and directs the food preparation and execution at Validation ale to the desired high level of standard. A managerial role, the Lead Chef will help manage kitchen inventory levels and observe, direct, teach other members of the kitchen.
The qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
Great verbal communication skills & leadership abilities
Ability creating & leading successful events
Continually cooks our food to the expected standard and monitors the output of others daily
Food Safety Certification and ability to implement & maintain protocols
Organization skills regarding products/equipment, ordering schedule & food preparation schedule
Ability to work nights and weekends
Ability to stand, cook, and hustle for demanding 6 hour periods of time
