Located in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone, Validation Ale is Santa Barbara’s newest craft brewery & kitchen, however, we are not a standard brew pub. Imagine a Fine Dining restaurant had a baby with a local Craft Brewery - that’s the baby we strive to be! VA’s has proven a unique ability to consistently shock guests with our high quality products - both food and beverages - and the speed at which we are delivering. The kitchen operation is operated by two long-time restaurant professionals who have a love for incredible food and craft beer. Validation Ale seeks to leverage practices rooted in data, customer input, and constant evolution to consistently deliver products people are dying to enjoy and an experience they can’t wait to repeat.

Line cook for lunch hours Thursday-Monday

Qualifications and responsibilities
Minimum 3 year cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
Ability to learn our detailed menu and continually cook our food to the expected standard
Ability to execute new specials each shift or cook an alternative menu
Ability to complete the necessary food preparation on shift
Ability to follow the leadership of the lead Chef
Food Safety Certification and ability to maintain protocols
Ability to maintain the daily and weekly cleaning schedule
Be on time and keep a clean appearance
Ability to stand, cook, and hustle for demanding 6 hour periods of time
Partial English for communication with the front of house
