Validation Ale has expanded to the uptown area at Validation Annex at 2840 De La Vina Street. We strive to continue our reputation of serving high quality food to go alongside our excellent craft beer. This location provides a fresh pizza menu paired with half of the menu from the Funk Zone location. We're accepting resumes from reliable, detail oriented individuals with a passion for providing excellent service.
Available positions:
Foodrunning/dishwasher: Saturday & Sunday 11-4, Monday & Tuesday 4pm-9pm
Cook Day Shifts: 11am-4 (Sat and Sun), more daytime hours available when we open for lunch
Cook Night shifts: Starting at 4pm
Linecooks (preferably with pizza experience)
Qualifications and responsibilities:
Minimum 3 year cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
Ability to learn our detailed menu and continually cook our food to the expected standard
Ability to execute new specials each shift or cook an alternative menu
Ability to complete the necessary food preparation on shift
Ability to follow the leadership of the lead Chef
Food Safety Certification and ability to maintain protocols
Ability to maintain the daily and weekly cleaning schedule
Be on time and keep a clean appearance
Ability to stand, cook, and hustle for demanding 6 hour periods of time
Partial English for communication with the front of house
