SAMsARA Wine Co. is a boutique winery in Goleta, CA, with an additional tasting room located in Los Olivos, CA. We specialize in producing limited releases of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, and Chardonnay.
Our wines are crafted from carefully selected micro-sites within Sta. Rita Hill’s most distinctive vineyards, showcasing the unique natural elements of each vineyard through a low intervention winemaking style.
Role Description:
This is an hourly, on-site role for a Wine Educator at SAMsARA Wine Co. As a Wine Educator, you will be responsible for conducting wine tastings, providing in-depth knowledge about our wines, demonstrating wine pairing techniques and providing excellent hospitality.
Wine club sign-ups and wine sales are integral to this role and will be supported through training, winery experience, vineyard visits and educational opportunities.
Qualifications:
Current CA Driver's License
Ability to repeatedly life 40lbs
Experience in wine sales and providing wine education to customers
Knowledge of wine pairing techniques and the ability to offer recommendations
Familiarity with wineries and winemaking processes
Passion for and extensive knowledge of wine
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a team and provide exceptional customer service
WSET or similar wine certification is a plus
Prior experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role is beneficial
