Companion needed 2 days/week, 5 hours/day. We already have a wonderful companion 5 days/week, so we are seeking someone to cover for the other days when she is unavailable.
Seeking a good natured, mature person who would enjoy our mother—a 92-year-old retired special ed teacher, lover of plants, flowers, classical music, and healthy food. Our mom finally realized that she is not getting any younger, stronger or taller, nor is her memory getting any sharper! There is simply too much involved in running her household. She would welcome help with light housekeeping, outdoor walking, watering of indoor and some outdoor plants, grocery shopping, errands, doctor visits, meal prep and some personal care. Schedule could be flexible, but our mom likes to sleep late, so afternoons are best. Pay is $22 - $25/hr.
Ideal candidate will have:
1. Current drivers license, car, auto insurance and clean driving record
2. Availability 2 - 3 days/wk, preferably in afternoons
3. Excellent references and willingness to do background check
