Help I am looking for an IHSS provider to assist my aunt Barbara for 16 hours a week.
She is 69 years old, with mobility issues. She is in need of emotional support and companionship, as well as help with activities of daily living.
She would benefit from someone with reliable transportation, familiar with the community, who could help her “re-start” her social life and get involved…She loves the Audubon bird walks for example, but can’t make it to them on her own! She also likes the Botanic Garden.
If you are very patient, compassionate, and excited about helping someone sweet and caring who really “ blooms” with attention, please contact me to find out more. Because Barbara lives with her 95-year old mother (who has her own caregivers), this is a complex, sometimes frustrating situation and not for a beginning caregiver.
Additional pay is available on top of the IHSS reimbursement, and depends on experience.
Current IHSS certification is required.
