Our office is looking to hire an experienced, energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our amazing team.
We are looking for an outgoing, people person that is motivated to improve their assisting skills. A team player, who is enthusiastic, well organized, and has great customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Assisting the dentist chairside on a variety of procedures
Taking x-rays (certification req’d), scanning (digital impressions), & Impression taking
Ensuring patient comfort
Presentation of Treatment to patients when needed
Setup/Breakdown/Cleaning/Stocking of operatories & sterilization room
Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
Maintaining accurate patient records/charts/notes
Sending/Receiving/Tracking of lab cases
Communication with patients (phone/text/in-office)
Answering phone when needed
Assisting with payment procedures when needed
Assisting Hygiene when needed
Helping to maintain a clean & orderly office
Performing other reasonably related duties as assigned
Skills
Proven experience assisting dentist & hygienist
Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods
Understanding of dental health & safety regulations
Good computer skills (Open Dental experience a plus)
Excellent communication skills (Spanish/Bilingual a plus)
Good organization & attention to details
Being well organized, reliable & a team player
Job Types: Full-time and/or Part-time
Salary: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour DOE
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
