We are a well-established, patient-focused periodontal practice committed to providing exceptional care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are looking to expand our team by hiring an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to help support our busy practice.
Job Description:
As an RDA at our periodontal practice, you will play a crucial role in assisting our doctor with a variety of procedures and ensuring that our patients receive the best care possible. You will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting with periodontal surgeries, taking x-rays, and providing excellent patient care before, during, and after treatment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the periodontist during various periodontal procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take accurate x-rays and diagnostic images
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Maintain patient records and documentation
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent customer service
Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Current RDA license
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDA (preferred)
Experience in a periodontal or surgical setting is a plus
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with a positive attitude
