Primary Responsibilities:
-Perform bindery function as noted on work order. This includes running machines for folding, cutting, padding, numbering, GBC punching, spiral or coil binding, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, saddle stitching, laminating and shrink wrapping.
-Package jobs, complete work orders and delivery receipts as necessary and place in designated areas.
-Reject poor quality or incorrect jobs and notify management.
-Deliver jobs to client using company vehicle.
-Help with sign installations, mainly vinyls and basic mounting.
-All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
-Good mathematical skills and must know how to use a ruler down to the millimeter.
-Must have an eye for precision and attention to detail.
-Must be able to take direction and follow instruction well.
-Must have clean driving record and drivers license.
-Must be flexible and able to adapt to constant changes and shifts in priorities.
-Must be extremely organized, take initiative and stay on schedule.
Experience desired but not necessary:
-Background in printing operation or terminology.
This job requires you to work independently most of the time. Our team is small, so we are a tight group of people who rely on each other heavily.
