Hope 4 Kids is a year-round, multi-campus preschool and infant/toddler program in Santa Barbara, offering high quality care for children 0 months through pre-kindergarten. As a ministry of Hope Community Church, we are a faith-based program, and believe strongly in communicating Christian values to the next generation through our curriculum. We also follow a nature-based learning philosophy, based on years of solid research showing the amazing benefits of outdoor play! Children at all three of our campuses enjoy a significant amount of time outdoors, learning naturally by exploring the world around them.
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team and help take care of our three early learning center campuses.
Job description:
-You will report to the Director of Facilities Management
-You will assist the Director of Facilities Management with tasks to keep up the appearance, function, and safety of all three campuses of our early learning centers, including indoor settings and outdoor play areas.
-Projects include plumbing, electrical, construction, janitorial work, safety regulation, and more.
-On the job training is available, but experience is a plus.
-Must be able to understand English.
-Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and lift at least 50 lbs.
This is an in-person, full-time (40 hours/week) position.
You will need to pass a Live Scan fingerprint check, criminal background check, and health screening (including a TB test) prior to starting.
