Position: Household Laundress / Housekeeper
Location: Carpinteria, CA
Compensation: $40–$60/hour (DOE)
Benefits: Health benefits, PTO offered
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Status: Full-time, live-out
A private household in Carpinteria is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laundress/Housekeeper to provide exceptional garment care and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of a smaller residence. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, discreet, and take pride in maintaining high standards throughout the home.
Responsibilities:
Complete laundry care including washing, ironing, steaming, and fabric maintenance
Wardrobe organization and proper storage of fine garments
General housekeeping and daily upkeep of the home
Dusting, sweeping, and surface cleaning
Table setting and light household assistance as needed
Maintain a tidy, well-presented environment at all times
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a laundress or housekeeper in a private residence
Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain treatment, and garment maintenance
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Discreet, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
