Harry's House is 60-unit senior housing community offering assistance with Dining, Transportation, Resident Advocacy and Housekeeping in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Our organization is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the community areas as well as cleaning and sanitizing assigned resident unit. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on our organization.
Position hours includes 32 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain housekeeping schedule to ensure that resident rooms and common areas are maintained in clean and sanitary condition.
- Clean assigned rooms in the common areas as assigned in keeping with the schedule.
- Wash and return resident linens as assigned.
- Complete cleaning checklists and return daily to designated person.
- Maintain cleaning cart in an orderly manner.
- Maintain cleaning equipment (vacuums, carts, washing machine, dryer, etc.) and report problems to supervisor.
- Maintain housekeeping storage and supply area in an organized manner.
- Report resident unit hazards, maintenance, clutter accumulation or concerns about residents to supervisor.
- Remove community kitchenware from resident rooms and return to kitchen.
- Provide caring and compassionate service
- Other duties as required by business needs.
