Great opportunity with an Established Property Management Company with over 50 years in the industry! We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Tech. This person must be able to perform simple property maintenance tasks and assist with turnovers and general property maintenance.
The ideal candidate should have some background in property maintenance OR be willing to learn how to be responsible for preparing apartments for turnover which includes: painting, lock repair and replacement, window and screen repair, general repairs and cleaning. Experience in or willing to learn basic electrical & plumbing- installing switches, outlets, lighting and ceiling fans. Install garbage disposals, fixing minor leaks in plumbing fixtures, install new plumbing fixtures, and fix minor backups. Must be able to cooperate and work alongside other maintenance techs and vendors. Basic carpentry a plus. Must have the ability to complete maintenance jobs in a timely and satisfactory manner and take pride in attention to detail and delivering a good product.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position; hourly compensation.
