Job Description:
The yard maintenance worker is responsible for keeping the facility clean, maintaining landscaping, and cleaning heavy equipment.
Duties include
o Prepping machinery for painting.
o Trimming, watering, and leaf blowing around the yard.
o Running errands to local vendors to pick up parts or supplies.
This job requires working outdoors, handling various tools, and ensuring equipment and the yard are clean, well-maintained and orderly.
On-the-job training will be provided when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
The yard maintenance worker should be physically fit.
Have basic knowledge of heavy equipment and cleaning tools.
Experience in basic landscape maintenance.
Attention to detail for tasks like prepping equipment for painting.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required for running errands.
Good time management, communication skills, and reliability are essential, along with the ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
A high school diploma may be preferred but is not always necessary.
Proficiency in spoken and written English required.
Benefits:
Full time position.
Starting salary is $18 per hour with potential for increase based on performance after 90 days.
