MarBorg Industries is a local family-owned and operated business. We are looking for hardworking, reliable employees to work as a Sorter full-time in our recycling facility to assist in the proper placement and sorting of organic material and general debris in the recycling yard.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Manually sort material from the conveyor and into designated bins.
Empty sorted material containers as needed.
Assist coworkers as needed with heavy or bulky items.
Maintain a clean work area.
Attend weekly safety meetings.
Ability to adhere to work schedule.
Must be flexible to work early and late hours depending on workload.
Completes special projects that the on-site manager may assign and prioritize.
Safely perform duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
Comply with OSHA regulations when using hazardous chemicals on company premises; comply with company safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be capable of learning specific sorting and material handling procedures.
Ability to stand for eight-plus hours per day.
Must be able to communicate and understand instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a dependable, self-motivated individual.
