SB Dance Arts is looking for a motivated, dedicated, inspiring dance teacher who not only teaches kids great dancers, but teaches dancers how to be great kids.
SB Dance Arts provides classes from ages 2-adult in: jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballet, pointe, and Acro. We provide programs for recreational dancers as well as competitive dancers through our student companies and competition teams.
At this time, we are looking for qualified teachers for our Mini Creative Movement Classes which range from ages 2-5, and advanced jazz/contemporary teachers. We are accepting qualified applicants in other genres to make a difference in the lives of our students.
Qualifications:
Degree in Dance (B.A or B.F.A) preferred
2-3 years teaching experience
2 references
Skills Needed:
Punctuality
Responsiveness with emails and other communications
Inclusive teaching skills- Our studio culture advocates creating an inclusive environment conducive to all types of learners
Positive attitude and genuine love for teaching kids
