Thank youElectronic AssemblerSanta Barbara, CATemp-HireMonday - Friday: 1st shift$22-$26/hourThe ideal candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented individual who values customer service and has experience in a manufacturing environmentAssembler Job Summary: Looking to fill an Electronic Assembler position that requires Soldering and Assembly experience with a willingness to learn.Mechanical tasks may include sanding, lapping, understanding mixing chemicals/ratios, encapsulation, reading drawings, torquing, etcMinimum 1 year of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environmentResponsibilitiesElectronic tasks include wiring, soldering, reading drawings, reading electrical schematics /wiring diagrams, cutting & tinning wires, etcAssembler must read and understand production drawings, assembly instructions, work orders, and sample assembliesAssembler crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel or printed wiring boards. Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device. Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Manufactures cables and wiring harnesses using copper wire, co-axial cable, twin-axial cable, and fiber-optic cable. Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets. Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
