Primary responsibilities:
1. Mount fragile semiconductor wafers to holders.
2. Setup growth reactors.
3. Reactor operation.
4. Data acquisition and analysis.
5. Other development and fabrication jobs related to crystal growth and processing.
The job involves handling of ammonia gas, solvents, acid, base and other hazardous materials with protective equipment.
Compensation package:
Base Salary $70k annual, bi-weekly salary
Health Insurance (medical and dental) fully paid, no probationary period and no employee contribution
SEP-IRA retirement plan: SixPoint contributes an additional 3.5k/yr
24 vacation days per year including national holidays
Non-accumulating sick leave up to 5 days per year

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
Careful and accurate hand dexterity to handle fragile wafers
Practical common-sense and hands-on experience with tools and machines
Be able to tighten bolts at 80 ft-lb torque
Intermediate computer skills (Operation of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Can work collaboratively with teammates
Preferred experience:
Experience in machining and power tools
Machining of glass, ceramic or crystalline materials
Knowledge on hazardous materials and gases
Programming and databases (e.g. Excel macro, visual basic)
