IntriPlex Technologies, Inc. is looking for a SHIPPING & RECEIVING OPERATOR to join our facilities & manufacturing team at our facility in Goleta, CA. IntriPlex is a leading supplier of precision engineered mechanical/electromechanical components and automation services for data storage and electric batteries.
SUMMARY OF SHIPPING & RECEIVING OPERATOR:
This individual plays an important role in IntriPlex’s operations. Counts, labels, and packages parts. Generates and distributes shipping documents using SAP MRP system and other software. Assists with receiving of materials, supplies, parts and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Count and pack parts into bags or trays as defined by packaging procedures
Generate and distribute shipping documents using SAP and shipper software
Receive raw material and supplies within SAP MRP system
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma
MRP or database system experience preferred
3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing and/or product delivery environment
SPECIFIC PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sit and/or stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
WORK ENVINRONMENT:
Exposure to the manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, aprons and occasional use of face shields. Work near mechanical moving parts. Work near hazardous chemicals, training on handling and cleanup of hazardous materials required.
