Seymour Duncan is looking for a Shipping Clerk. Due to high demand, the Shipping team needs some help on a temporary basis. Duties include;
Prepares paperwork associated with returned or damaged items
Inputs data in computer
Interfaces with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Production, Sales
Pulls, packs, seals and ships company products in accordance with company practices or customer requirements
Verifies that item number, quantity and ship-to address is correct
May deliver and pick up material at various locations using company vehicle or forklift
Maintains records and files
Counts inventory
Keeps stock in neat and orderly arrangement
Fills requisitions and work orders
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Must be flexible and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Must be able to identify and make recommendations to solve problems
Must be a self-starter, motivated and follow through to completion
Familiar with basic computer programs (email, Excel, software packages)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, both oral and written
Must lift at least 25 lbs
Must be able to speak, write, & read English (bilinqual speaking in English and Spanish preferred but not required)
