OVERVIEW

We are seeking Youth Partners to supervise teenage girls in a residential program. This includes modeling healthy relationships, teaching the girls to set healthy boundaries, and teach independent living skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise, protect and care for children individually and in groups, according to standards set forth by Community Care Licensing.

Maintain a safe, clean environment.

Perform required quality assurance checks and document accurately and timely.

Assist each youth in working with a group and in handling individual problems.

Teach youths independent living skills such as food preparation, house cleaning, laundering and yard work

Ensure proper medical attention for clients.

Provide guidance to assist clients’ in meeting their individual therapeutic goals.

Transport youth and escort them to designated appointments and activities.

Provide clients with access and freedom of choice to attend religious services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a California Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Must have 3 years of history as a licensed driver.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Must receive and maintain a criminal record clearance as determined by California’s Caregiver Background Check Bureau.

Must have the ability to remain awake and alert for the duration of your shift.

Job Types: Full-time and Per Diem

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Schedules:

A SHIFT- 40 hours

Sunday- 7 am to 9 pm

Monday- 3:30 pm to 10 pm

Tuesday- 3:30 pm to 10 pm

Wednesday- 9 am to 12 pm (Staff Meeting)

Wednesday- 12 pm to 10 pm

Off: Thursday - Saturday

B SHIFT- 36 hours

Wednesday- 9 am to 12 pm (Staff Meeting)

Thursday- 2 pm to 11 pm

Friday- 1 pm to 10 pm

Saturday- 7 am to 10 pm

SCHOOL SHIFT- (requires a bachelor’s degree and education experience)

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

40 hours per week (year-round)
