CADA (The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse) is seeking a Treatment Programs Manager (Co-occuring) for our adolescent substance abuse & mental health treatment programs in Santa Barbara.

We are looking for a dedicated therapist or social worker with interest in furthering their experience in the nonprofit sector. This position is an opportunity to learn new skills while working with a dynamic team of counselors, case managers, and program staff with passion for helping youth.

Join our Daniel Bryant Youth and Family Treatment Center team as we expand & enhance services in new programs and areas in Santa Barbara’s South County.

Services are currently being provided via tele-health only, with the expectation that the position will be in person in the office as soon as it is safe to do so.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or equivalent experience in Substance Abuse Counseling

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Or Registered Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT), Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), with a minimum of 2000 hrs, Or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with minimum of 3 years treatment experience.

Knowledge of individual counseling principles and techniques, and of substance abuse assessment and case planning.

Knowledge of resources for treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation in South SB County.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Administrative and/or Managerial experience or a desire to learn

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and bi-cultural preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organization & management of the South SB County Treatment Programs, including coordinates services for all new clients, leads team meetings, provides direction and assistance to treatment counselors, and serves as an agency representative to the community.

Providing group and individual treatment services to youth and families, completing assessments and treatment plans in collaboration with client/family, and providing case management services for assigned clients (including appropriate documentation of services).

CADA IS a progressive agency which provides Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Treatment services to adults, adolescents, and children. CADA offers integrated treatment on a continuum of care including: social model detox & residential treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient treatment, and mental health therapy. CADA provides opportunities for Certified AOD Counselors, Licensed and Associates MFT, Social Workers, or PCCs to provide individual, group, and/or family counseling/therapy for substance use disorders & co-occurring conditions for adults, children, and/or adolescents. CADA Counselors collaborate within the community, receive quality clinical supervision, and participate in ongoing education in mental health and substance abuse topics.
