THE SANDBOX SANTA BARBARA, a coworking space, shared office and event venue, is searching for a dynamic individual to join our team. This charismatic and energetic individual will assist in developing our community, fostering existing memberships, act as the on site host in the morning from 8:30 to noon.
This is a part-time opportunity working 3 to 4 mornings a week.
Compensation: $20 per hour and a SANDBOX All Access Coworking Membership
Responsibilities

– Work with THE SANDBOX team to manage day to day operations at our Santa Barbara location
– Provide a daily positive attitude and connect with our members and guests
– Assist with new member growth
– Give tours of THE SANDBOX facilities to new members
– Engage in the Santa Barbara community to help promote THE SANDBOX
– Keep the facilities tidy and neat and manage daily facility upkeep
– Develop partnerships with other local organizations
– Help organize monthly SANDBOX programs and events
– Help to manage social media accounts
– Help us to promote THE SANDBOX as an event venue
– Work onsite during the day (mornings to start) as a host to answer member and visitor questions
– Help to organize monthly get togethers for SANDBOX members to build the community building
– Engage the local community by networking & attending outside events
Required Experience

– Experience in a customer service related field or hospitality driven role specializing in Guest Service, Customer Service, Sales, or a similar field.
– A vibrant personality and ability to connect with people
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– An interest in entrepreneurship and business
- Outstanding communication skills in person, on the phone and by email.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Basic computer program knowledge: Spreadsheets, Documents, Cloud Software, Collaborative Project Management Software, Dropbox, Google Docs, Sheets etc.
