Well established construction company seeks an office assistant.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, wear many hats, be able to solve problems with limited direction, have great sense of humor and love dogs. We are looking for someone to grow with us and stay with the company.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Billing = Create invoices and track Change Orders
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Create and maintain file systems
Self-motivated, punctual and well organized
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Coordinate and monitor office operations to ensure company requirements are sufficiently met
Answer phones
Monitor supplies and inventory
Work Monday - Friday (40hrs) per week
Provide qualify staff support and contribute to the needs of the organization. Perform a variety of routine and non-routine administrative, clerical, and data entry tasks, and may assume other duties as required/needed.
JOB QUALIFCATIONS:
Fluency in QuickBooks, Excel and Outlook
Minimum 2 years in similar role
Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and backs accounting procedures
Able to maintain a pleasant and positive demeanor during stressful and high demand situations.
Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
Ability to take ownership of work and communicate issues with management.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
