SBF Payroll is now hiring! We are looking to fill a payroll processor position which is entry level and the training rate ranges from $18/hour -$21.00/hour DOE. The pay rate will increase immediately after the training period is completed, usually around after 2 months.

If you're detail oriented, good with numbers and a hard worker looking to make a difference within your community by helping local, small businesses process their payroll with superior service and stay in compliance this may be a great fit for you ! After a number of years of employment, we also offer our employees franchise opportunities so you can eventually run your own payroll service and be self employed!

The position is Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with benefits, paid holidays and PTO! Our office is located downtown SB with free parking (home office setup) and friendly staff to work with! We have two dogs on the property so a love for dogs is a must and the free licks and kisses from the pooches are part of your benefits package!

Location: Santa Barbara, CA (On-Site)

Responsibilities:

Answering and directing incoming phone calls and requests

Assisting office manager with processing payrolls, making tax payments, filing and other weekly payroll tasks.

Managing supplies for the office.

Dropping daily payrolls at the post office at end of workday.

Special projects for the office and other duties as needed.

Two sweet dogs on premises. Must be ok with dogs and willing to give them a treat upon their request!

Key Competencies:

A passion for delivering the highest standard of customer satisfaction

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills.

Must have 1-2 years administrative experience.

Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowing QuickBooks is a plus!
