This role serves to keep the warehouse workflows well-lubricated and running without gridlock. Additionally, this role serves to keep inventory accurate and keep our factories accountable by way of receival checks and quality control. Timely receiving and organization of shipments helps aid the rest of the warehouse in being able to pick and pack orders on time. Thoughtful organization and consolidation allow other staff members to be efficient and confident in their tasks. Purposeful consolidation and storage allow for more space to be used in storage and in line space.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Prepping for shipments by way of consolidating space in the line and storage, printing PLs, and printing box labels.
Outcome: Space is readily available for incoming styles in line and storage.
Outcome: Shipments are ready to be received as soon as they come in, and printing has been done prior to shipment arrival.
Receiving shipments based on PLs.
Outcome: Factory accountability with quantity can be established.
Quality control process.
Outcome: Factory accountability with quality can be established.
Organizing boxes from shipments for storage.
Outcome: Streamlines receiving and storage process
Storing incoming boxes.
Outcome: Clears receiving area for other tasks or shipments. Allows staff to find boxes of backstock.
Replenishing items from backstock.
Outcome: Allows staff to pick orders more efficiently and uninterrupted. Also creates more storage space.
Additional tasks if above are complete, or Warehouse Supervisor requests.
Picking, packing, and/or shipping wholesale orders.
Aiding in weekly inventory counts.
