Position Summary
Were growing quickly across 4 continents and have many exciting technologies to support! We are looking for someone with a good grasp of a wide array of systems including networking, Windows, Linux, SQL databases, remote warehouses, PCs, Macs and cloud infrastructures. The right candidate must enjoy technology, be curious and be able to apply their knowledge to constantly changing challenges. This position is as challenging as it is rewarding, as you will be constantly learning and adapting as you are exposed to all areas of IT Operations.
Job Description
Work closely with Senior Systems Administrator to plan, develop, test, and deploy various systems aimed to improve the user experience
Help provide local and remote PC support to various locations across the globe for both Windows and Mac
Help provision accounts for local and cloud services across various systems (Office365, G Suite, etc.)
Windows server maintenance and support
Manage the network infrastructure at our North American locations
Assist in managing our cloud base infrastructure consisting of Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu), MySQL, and PostgreSQL running on AWS and Rackspace
Assist in managing server automation scripts (Chef)
Research various IT technologies and make recommendations
Other tasks as assigned
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
4 years experience preferred
2 years Network management experience
Experience with Windows 10 and MacOS support
Familiarity with any programming or scripting language a plus
Familiarity with Windows Server 2016 management a plus
Database management experience a plus
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.) a plus
Familiarity with Ubiquiti systems a plus
Experience with Linux server management and configuration a plus
Must be willing to take ownership of areas of responsibility
Occasional travel to various warehouse locations across North America to plan and assess network infrastructure required
