This position requires someone who is not only business minded and dependable, but also has an outgoing, friendly personality and feels comfortable interacting with a wide-variety of consumers. People skills are a must!
This position requires 2 farmer's markets only on the weekends.
Your responsibilities include the following:
-Drive to farmers Saturday/Sunday market in Santa Barbara County.
-Unload van and set up booth efficiently
-Sell products, providing great customer service
-Count sales, pay market manager
-Break down booth display, pack van
-Heavy-lifting required
-Comfortable working independently
-Food Handler's Certificate required (but we will assist you with that if needed)
Our product is well known in and around the Central Coast. You will get paid a flat rate plus a commission - a great deal for a friendly salesperson since our product is such a tasty and healthy snack. We are looking for someone who is dependable, and can commit regularly to the market(s). If you are a student, we are willing to help plan your work schedule around your availability.
