Senior Software Developer, Windows / C
EVP Systems is looking for an experienced Windows C / C Software Engineer to join our team. This is an on-site full-time, salaried position, located downtown Santa Barbara.
Thousands of banks, brokerage, law and accounting firms, as well as the Internal Revenue Service, rely on our products.
EVP Systems’ primary product is EVP Office, a suite of Windows client applications that provide ready-to-file securities valuations for IRS Form 706 and 709. These applications connect to a Linux-based server to retrieve pricing as well as other information based on user-entered portfolio data. The initial work for this position will involve transitioning from the current C / C / MFC / Win32 codebase to a new generation of applications, using modern Windows technology. As the Windows Developer, you would help define the specific stack based on product requirements, and work closely with a small group, consisting of:
C / C Linux Developers
Python / MySQL - Database Developer
Python - Systems Developer
Salary: $125,000k - $175,000 / year

```Requirements```
Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in developing for Windows using Visual Studio 2022.
Experience building and shipping applications using modern Windows frameworks (WPF, UWP, WinUI 3, etc).
Up to date on the current state of the C language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in client-server architecture, security protocols, GitHub, AWS, Linux, MySQL.
Knowledge of securities data on stocks, bonds, etc. is a plus.
Knowledge of trusts or banking would be helpful.
Publicly available code, via GitHub for instance, is nice to have.
