Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Facility Technician to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong systems, Electrical, Pluming, Boilers, and Mechanical Machinery.(laundry and dry cleaning equipment) This role requires effective supervisory skills to, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and safely. Lead Facility Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role is crucial for ensuring that all facility operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and systems.
Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement, including HVAC systems and low voltage installations, boilers, pluming and mechanical machinery(laundry and dry cleaning equipment)
Ensure that all cleaning equipment is working properly
Collaborate with GM & Owner on facility-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting as needed.
Fabricate necessary components or modifications to improve facility operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in facility management or industrial maintenance roles.
Strong systems, electrical systems, and mechanical operations.
Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical work is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
